Life Style Newborn Session
Lifestyle newborn sessions are the perfect way to capture the sweet new addition to your family in a natural and relaxed way. My approach is modern and documentary. No posing is done, just gentle direction which allows for natural connection and interaction. Every home is unique so I will work with spaces that offer the best combination of light and space. I typically work with the master bedroom, living area and nursery if applicable.

Studio Newborn Session
It is best to book your session as soon as possible to insure availability.  Once your baby is born, contact me as soon as possible to schedule your session. Newborn sessions are best done within 5-15 days after your baby is born. At this age they are still sleepy, and we can get those tiny curled up poses. If we are lucky some dreamy smiles! after this age they don’t sleep as deeply.

Once you are officially booked I send you a "What to expect" information sheet to help you prepare for your session and answer questions many parents have.
A newborn session typically lasts based ont the belwo packages, allowing plenty of time for feedings and comfort. They are not rushed at all.  My style is relaxed and natural with some posing.
The session will consist of a few different "set ups". I pre plan your set ups based off of your answers to the questionnaire I send you upon booking.
Sessions typically take place in my Roanoke studio where I have everything set up for your session.  I provide everything that I use, parents do not need to bring anything unless we discuss a special set ahead of time.
